Tub Time

There is one time of the day that Kenny just absolutely LOVES, and that's bath time. When we tell him it's time for his bath, he heads straight for the stairs repeating, "bath, bath, bath, bath..." I've never met someone who loves taking a bath as much as my son. This is just a sample of how excited he is everyday, when he has his bath.

Looking Like a Stud

I thought this picture of Kenny was great. I couldn't think of anything cute to write, or something funny to say. I'm just calling it like I see it. And like I mentioned in a previous post, I'm just here to post cute pictures of my family, because I can.

What Kids Want

Church is always an adventure. Kimberly always wants to take pictures of the family because, "Doesn't Kenny look cute today?"

I enjoy listening to the "new" doctrine which gets taught in church on a weekly basis...

And Kenny.... Well, even if has has an "accident," and has no pants, it doesn't stop him from going where he wants...

or doing what he likes.

3D photos!

I recently discovered how to shoot pictures in 3D, and am quite excited. You know those 3D images that were extremely popular back in the day that had those funny squiggles? You know, the ones where you would cross your eyes and then a 3D image would pop out of the page? Well, this works on the same principle, cross your eyes until a third image shows up between the two, and then bring that third image into focus, and the picture becomes 3D! This picture was taken under one of the bridges in Waco. Click on the image if you need to make it larger. Sit back from the screen to make it easier.

Loving the Weather

I recently received a new lens for my camera, and I LOVE it!

I just can't seem to stop taking pictures, and who do I take pictures of? None other than my favorite people in the whole world.
With the recent weather changes we spend even more time outside. We are looking forward to my preceptorship coming up in a couple of weeks so we can go camping.

As most of y'all know Kenny loves rocks...er... gocks. No matter where we go, he gets so excited.

 

There is a hole in a fence close to our apt., and when Kenny discovered it he just wanted walk back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. We spent a good 30 minutes at this gap in the fence. You should have seen Kimberly  try and get through it...

Kenny then found a snail...

Mom was not too please as you can tell by the expression on her face. Then Kenny got the "hands-on-the-hips" look.

So we found something cleaner to play with. A rag that has been on the ground since we moved in 7 months ago~

Kenny just can't seem to keep his hands off of things, but that's okay because Dad isn't a germaphobe.

Rocks, Locks, and Gocks?

We had fun in our back yard, and it just confirms my original belief that I do not need to spend money on toys for my son. Kenny can't pronounce his "R's" so they come out sounding like "G's," and hence "Gocks" = "Rocks."

Kimberly actually got Kenny to do some dancing for the camera.

2 Down 11 to Go

We had fun telling Kimberly's parents this weekend that there will be yet another Heck in the world! So lets see...that's 2 down and 11 to go.

This is the letter we handed them as we came to visit.

Dear Grandpa & Grandma,

I do not have a face to see,
Or put inside a frame.
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss.
I don't yet have a name.

Not yet can you hold my tiny hands,
Nor whisper in my ear.
It's still too soon to sing a song,
Or cuddle me so near.

But all that will change come this May;

When they say I am due.
I am your newest grandchild;
And I can't wait until I meet you!

All I ask between now and then

A Rainy Day Story

Birds at the Pond

As most of y'all have probably noticed, I have not been keeping up with the blog like I should, sorry about that. School and work have kept me super busy, but the things that need to be done need doing, and this is one thing that needs doing.

Just before David left for Mexico we had the chance to hang with him and play with the ducks.

Kenny was super excited to see some ducks close up.Kimberly was not pleased with how dirty the water was...
And who wouldn't have fun being hoisted up by a 6'6" giant?
As always we take a picture of David and Kenny side by side. I'm going to have to find all of the side by side pictures and post the progression.

More fun to come, and I'm hoping it will not take me nearly as long.

My dad and me

This was my day with my dad. Mom went to work, so we had the WHOOOOOOOOOOOLE day together.
I sat in the dirt and played with rocks...
I was told to stop eating them, I'm not sure why, so I made him stick his finger in my mouth and try to scrape them out.
I look up to my dad, he's a pretty smart guy.
I thought I'd go check out the girls at the pool next.
Dad had something to say about that though, and he told me not to repeat it for some reason.
Next, we played ball.
We were playing outside for a long time, nobody goes home until I say it's time to go.
I was so tired... I normally take 2 naps, but today I took 3, and one of them was for 2 hours (that one felt good).
