HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Happy First Birthday Kenny! We had a fantastic time with grandparents galore.
Our Master Chef managed to bake a cake, mark it with a "K", and he put in the oven for Kenny and everyone else.
I would love to tell you that Kenny successfully blew out his solitary candle, but he didn't. He did stare at it pretty intently though...
There were no complaints as to how the food tasted, it was wonderful.
One of his presents was a hammer and some pegs. Kenny didn't need motivation to wack things prior to this, but now he has a license to do it.
Kenny, the fortunate soul he is, managed to convince his grandparents that he needed TWO birthday parties.
This is a Cookie Monster cake.
Kenny didn't just get one cell phone...
But TWO cell phones! He also got a land phone, but I don't have a picture of that currently.
Now this was an interesting experience. He was fascinated by the cake, but he does not enjoy getting dirty. His fingers went right in at first, and then..."Ewwww yuk! What is this?" Was the look he bore on his face.
This is our birthday boy, happy as can be, and we love him. How can you not love a face like that? He just radiates cuteness.
I have a few videos which will follow, but I wanted to get this post out today, while it was still his birthday. I hope you can enjoy this occasion, at least in a small measure, like we have.

DESTRUCTION!!!
We're not sure if this it the best thing to teach our son, or even if it's right, but he sure loves it, and it's way funny to watch. We tell ourselves that we are teaching him his colors, but I don't think he's really paying much attention to that.
